The Pinhal Golf
course was originally designed by
the Briton Frank Pennink and in 1985
redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
This has resulted in the course enjoying
two completely different architectural
concepts, British and American and thus
a good variety in the holes.
Within pine woods and
picturesque views of the sea, the course
is characterised by small greens with
hole 17 at Par 5 offering players the
chance of a birdie.
